Kirklands River Tweed Trout Fishing, Scotland

The River Tweed provides superb trout and salmon fishing on what is generally regarded as one of the best stretches of the river. Best known for its salmon, the river can also offer excellent sport for those interested in trout fishing. Varieties of trout include wild brown, stocked brown (local club organised) and an occasional rainbow making a bid for freedom. The trout season starts on 15th March running through to the 6th October.
